EpicGuides:Titan
To open the goal:
- Run to Titan
- Listen Man
- Nod
Items needed to start the epic:
- 1 set of Sigils (Stealth, Magic, Might)
- 1 weapon of each damage type: Pierce, Magic, Cold, Water, Holy, and Negative
- Thandcrist
To start the epic, the party must be at Salkin. (From begining of area: UNNNNU, enter gate, NNN, enter portal, NUNN, enter shadow) This will take you through Titan L3
At Salkin, the person holding the set of sigils will say 'yes'. Salkin will then transfer you to a new room. To begin the first of three bosses, the group leader will "*nod salkin". The bosses are chosen at random.
Once the first boss is killed, an item is given to one of the players and the group is transferred to Salkin. If all memebers of the group are in the room, give the item to Salkin. Once the item has been given, the party is healed and the group leader will "*nod salkin" to start the second boss.
Once the second boss is killed, an item is given to one of the players and the group is transferred to Salkin. If all memebers of the group are in the room, give the item to Salkin. Once the item has been given, the party is healed and the group leader will "*nod salkin" to start the third boss.
Once the third boss is killed, an item is given to one of the players and the group is transferred to Salkin. If all memebers of the group are in the room, give the item to Salkin. Once the item has been given, the party is healed and transferred to Salkin's original room. DO NOT MOVE until the rewards have been handed out to the group members. Once the rewards have been handed out, the group leader will "say get me out" to get the group to the first room of the area.
To redeeem your reward(s), you will unkeep the items and give them to the man at the entrance of the area. If you have the Titan Portal, you will want this in your inventory when giving the items to the man.
Titan Epic Bosses:
Grakkr - The boss wears a special aura that changes up his resistances every so often. You will want to switch through the different damage types to find his vulnerabilities. The different damage type groups are listed below. The bold damages are the highest vulnerability for Grakkr during that damage type group.
Damage Type Groups for best damage:
- [Cold-Acid-Bash]
- [Holy-Shadow-Mental]
- [Negative-Fire-Light]
- [Magic-Energy-Earth]
- [Pierce-Air-Electric]
- [Water-Slash-Sonic]
Hej - This boss is split into three mobs: body, mind, and soul. During this boss fight, you will want to keep each of them fully webbed and kill them at about the same time. The three mobs will try to unite in a room. If this happens, you will want to find an 'anomaly' on the floor and hand it to one of the mobs to split them apart. When the mobs in a room together, their damage is multiplied and makes it hard to withstand the damage.
Orzbuk - This boss is a total of 4 mobs: right leg, left leg, right arm, left arm. The group will want to quickly cast 'reverse align' on each of the mobs to reduce the damage from the mobs. The best strategy is to split up tanking of each mob amongst the group. After all the mobs have dropped below 90/80/70/60/50/40/30/20/10%, the group will get their HP restored.
Lugthurg - This boss will need the whole group helping tank it. Throughout the fight, the boss will randomly observe individuals. If the observed individuals are tanking Lugthurg at the time of his random slicings, they will take massive amounts of damage.
Gjaka - This boss will switch his HP% with a random member in the group at 80/60/40/20%. If the random group member has a higher HP% than Grakkr, Grakkr will take their HP% as his own. The typical strategy for this boss is to have one person tank Grakkr. The rest of the group will turn autoassist off, flee off Grakkr, and keep moving east until their HP% is around 20%. Once the non-tanking party members get their HP to 20%, they will then start attacking Grakkr once more.
Morgak - This boss will randomly place runes inside of his 3x3 room dungeon. If the runes are visible on the map, you will want to avoid those rooms or they will explode on entry. If the runes do not appear on map, you can run through the room until you find one without a rune. The object is to dodge the runes and kill Morgak after dodging the runes.
Durthar - This boss fight involves a randomized maze that the boss randomly transfers around in. The random transfer happen when Durthar reaches 80/60/40/20/10% HP. As the boss fight goes on, tendrils are randomly populated through the maze. These tendrils are not able to be killed, but they can be tamed. The best practice is to retreat or flee off the tendrils. Basic strategy on this boss.
Rograg - This boss fight involves splitting the group into two groups. The first group is the person that will tank Ragrok himself. This person will "nod salkin" to get transferred to Rograg. The second group will be everyone else in the party. Their responsibility is to kill the guardians at the altars. As the guardians die, they will reveal the color of the altar. Then the titan in the center will be pushed to one of the altars, killed, and the heart sacrificed. You will want to keep killing the titan and sacrificing the heart. The basic strategy here is to find the red altar and to continuously sacrifice the heart to do additional damage to Rograg as the tank is killing him.
All of the bosses will wear a shield throughout their fights. This shield increases the bosses resistances and reduces the damage to the boss dramatically. You will want to wear the thandcrist and use the "cleave" skill to destroy the shield. The bosses also will quaff potions of sanctuary through the fight.
Occassionally the bosses will spawn with a "battle ready" item worn. The battle ready bosses are more difficult then the ordinary bosses and have the opportunity to terminate players tanking them. The typical strategy is to leave and restart the boss.
